We've developed several products that fall into two main categories: conversion kits for sleeping in your vehicle and storage boxes designed to organize your gear or create a functional camp kitchen.
- A conversion kit is a complete modular system made from solid birch that transforms your vehicle into a true camper. Depending on your vehicle size, it can include a bed, a kitchen, storage compartments, and even a lounge area with a table.
- Our storage boxes are more compact, purpose-built modules. They focus on specific functions—such as a removable camp kitchen or heavy-duty storage drawers—making them ideal if you already have a rooftop tent or simply want a better-organized cargo area.
What Are the Different Conversion Kit Models?
Today, we offer 6 different conversion kit models:
1. The Minivan Kit: Comfortable Van Life in a Family-Sized Vehicle
Who is it for? Solo travelers, couples, or families. Perfect for weekend adventurers and road trippers who enjoy long journeys and want a complete, comfortable camper setup.
The setup: A comfortable single/double bed, a fully equipped rear hatch kitchen (water storage, sink drawer, storage space, stove area, propane hose, etc.), optimized storage compartments, and a 3-position interior lounge area (perfect for working remotely or rainy days). This kit also includes our iconic outdoor table.
You can even add shelves and hide a Boxio composting toilet to complete your setup!
The biggest advantage: If your vehicle is a Dodge or Chrysler equipped with Stow 'n Go seats, you can keep up to 4 passenger seats while driving by simply removing and storing part of the kit!
Compatibility: Perfect for 7-seater minivans such as the Dodge Grand Caravan, Chrysler Voyager, Chrysler Pacifica, Toyota Sienna, and Honda Odyssey.
2. The Simple Kit: Total Freedom, Made Simple
Who is it for? Outdoor adventure lovers looking for an easy and affordable camper solution, as well as families who want to keep the second row of seats in their minivan.
The setup: An ultra-versatile and simple fold-out bed platform inspired by a “comb bed” design. The drawer option adds deep storage space underneath the bed, with a modular divider system. It also includes a workspace that easily transforms into a table. The kit height can be adjusted with the included adjustable legs.
The kit installs and removes in seconds. When stored away, it only takes up 2 x 4 feet of space. It is sold as a DIY kit (delivered flat-packed and ready to assemble).
The biggest advantage: It’s our Swiss Army knife of conversion kits. It fits almost any vehicle with a flat cargo floor, as well as most minivans currently on the market.

3. The Car Camping Kit: Spontaneous Adventures
Who is it for? Car campers and weekend adventurers who own an SUV and want to sleep comfortably anywhere with a simple setup. Perfect for outdoor enthusiasts who want to be the first on the trail at sunrise, close to their favorite biking or hiking spots.
The setup: Delivered fully assembled, the first installation takes less than an hour. This smart kit fits in your cargo area and unfolds to create a single/double bed and a complete, highly functional rear kitchen setup (stove area, sink, countertop workspace, pantry storage, and cooler space).
The bed height can be adjusted with the included bridge system, allowing you to sleep flat no matter your vehicle model. This kit also includes our iconic outdoor table.
The biggest advantage: Once you’re familiar with the setup, it installs and removes in just 5 minutes. In most cases, you can even leave it in your vehicle at all times.

4. Sleep’In Kit: Sleep in Your Car, Anywhere, Anytime
Who is it for? Weekend adventurers and short-trip explorers looking for a compact, efficient, and affordable solution to transform their everyday vehicle into a small camper.
The setup: A smart, pre-assembled conversion kit made from birch wood. It offers a versatile sleeping setup that can be configured as either a single or double bed.
In the rear, you’ll find a compact kitchen module featuring a sturdy double drawer system with built-in stops (supporting up to 45 kg / 100 lbs), a foldable sink, and a mount for setting up the table outside.
Note: This ultra-compact model does not include dedicated space for a cooler or water tank, allowing it to maximize available headroom and interior space.
The biggest advantage: Once you’re familiar with the setup, the kit installs in less than 5 minutes. You can leave it in your cargo area and reinstall your rear seats whenever you need to switch back to a 4-passenger vehicle.
Compatibility: It fits most compact SUVs, crossovers, and hatchbacks on the market. We recommend vehicles with a flat cargo floor and no raised edge near the hatch, making it easier to use the storage area and drawers.
5. The Cargo Van Kit: Full Comfort for Your Adventures

The setup: Designed specifically to maximize the width and depth of compact cargo vans. This kit includes a complete kitchen setup (sink, stove area, pantry storage, and cooler space), the longest bed in our lineup (78 inches), large storage compartments for your gear, dedicated space for your toilet, and more.
It also features a modular lounge area with a 3-position indoor table, plus our iconic outdoor table included.
The biggest advantage: The bench seat folds inward or outward, allowing you to enjoy your lounge area or take in the view depending on your preference.
Compatibility: Fits compact commercial cargo vans such as the Ford Transit Connect, Ram ProMaster City, Nissan NV200, Chevrolet City Express, and the new Ram ProMaster City 2027.
6. The ExpeditionBox: The Overlander’s Choice for Pickup Trucks
Who is it for? Outdoor enthusiasts, off-road adventurers, mountain bikers, climbers, and nature lovers who want to explore the outdoors with their pickup truck.
The setup: A versatile storage box with enough space for a complete camp kitchen (see section 1 of the “Box” section below for more details). An innovative bed frame is available as an optional add-on, with an expandable design that extends up to 6'3", allowing you to create either a single or double bed.
The 4-inch high-density mattress is designed for comfortable sleeping directly in your pickup truck bed.
The biggest advantage: The ExpeditionBox can be purchased with or without the bed frame. The lightweight aluminum bed structure folds away and takes up virtually no space, allowing you to keep maximum room for carrying your gear.
Compatibility: Compatible with Toyota Tacoma, Ford Ranger, Chevrolet Colorado, Ford E-Series, Dodge Ram, and other pickup trucks. It also fits perfectly in cargo vans or any vehicle with a flat cargo floor!
What Are the Different Storage Box (Box) Models?
If you don’t need a full sleeping setup inside your vehicle (for example, if you sleep in a rooftop tent), our Boxes are made for you!
1. The ExpeditionBox: The Overlander’s Choice for Pickup Trucks
Who is it for? Cyclists, climbers, and outdoor enthusiasts who want to enjoy the adventure while making the most of their pickup truck’s available space.
The concept: A rugged 4' x 2' storage box specifically designed for the off-road and pickup truck world. Made from highly durable ½-inch black hex-finished birch plywood, it’s built to handle all kinds of adventures.
The setup: Sold as a standalone storage solution to organize your tools and gear or create a compact camp kitchen. The ExpeditionBox features a drawer extending up to 40 inches and supporting up to 250 lbs.
It can hold a stove and a foldable sink (included), along with a removable countertop workspace. A bed option is also available (see section 6 of the conversion kits above for more details).
An optional protective cover allows you to keep the box installed in your truck bed at all times.
The biggest advantage: The box is functional and compact, leaving enough room to store your larger gear alongside it.
Compatibility: Compatible with Toyota Tacoma, Ford Ranger, Chevy Colorado, Ford E-Series, and other pickup trucks or vehicles with a flat cargo floor. It can also be used in cargo vans or any vehicle with a flat floor!
2. The TrailBox: Cargo Organizer for Large SUVs
Who is it for? You’ll love this product if you’re looking for a rugged storage solution to organize your camping, fishing, photography, hunting, or outdoor gear. It’s the ultimate companion if you already have a tent and want a perfectly organized and compartmentalized cargo area.
The concept: Designed in partnership with Go Overland, this premium cargo storage system features heavy-duty drawers built for adventure. Made from highly durable ½-inch black hex-finished birch plywood, the TrailBox is ready for any journey.
The setup: The TrailBox is a storage system designed to maximize your cargo space. It includes multiple adjustable dividers to create storage compartments that adapt to your needs, as well as a removable countertop workspace.
The large drawer slides out and uses the full width of your cargo area (31 ¾" D x 39 ¾" W x 10 ½" H). It’s the perfect size to organize your gear while leaving space between the storage box and the roof for bags, suitcases, or additional equipment.
The top panel can also be used as a convenient workspace. The box is delivered as a DIY flat-pack kit.
The biggest advantage: The first assembly takes only 20 minutes, and a step-by-step video is available to guide you through the process. Once assembled, it takes just 5 seconds to install in your cargo area.
