Pre-oiled with a non-toxic vegetable oil, it is ready to use right out of the box.
Rinse the board after use. Do not soak and do not put in the dishwasher. Simply use warm soapy water, then occasionally spray with a vinegar and water mixture. Rinse and dry with a dry cloth.
